Bangkok is full of Bars, Clubs and Karaoke Bars. Anyone of these places are an ideal place to find a date. Thai people generally like to have a "LOT" of fun, so heading out into the Bangkok Nightlife is an extremely enjoyable experience.
Finding a Date in Bangkok is not hard if you look in the right places. Some people like to go to the "Go Go" bars and meet a guy or a girl from there, but most people going to Bangkok who are looking for a long term partner generally avoid these places.
So, where are the best places to find a date in Bangkok?? Well unless you’re working in Thailand and have already met lots of people from your workplace, the best place to start is one of the small bars along Sukhumvit. Yes, this area is well known as being a Red Light District, but hey, if you're traveling alone, these are the best places to just sit down and have a few quite drinks to get you into the mood. There are also lots of Clubs in the Soi's of Sukhumvit, which usually charge a small entrance fee, but these clubs ( I think ) are excellent and attract a lot of the working class Thai and Foreign People. Silom Soi 4 also offers a lot of small Bars, that attract the same kind of people, and if your a guy and your preference is other guys, you might want to try Silom Soi 2. For the ladies who like other ladies, sorry, I don't know of any Girl/Girl bars, but I'm sure if you just went to one of the "Go Go" bars you'll find what you're looking for.
